The Madman's Return [Extra tracks]

Editorial Reviews

Product Description
SNAP! have become a true ‘hit machine’ and amassed countless awards in the process. After The Power, Anzilotti and Muenzing released further mega-sellers such as Ooops Up, Cult of SNAP! and Mary Had a Little Boy on their label Logic Records, all of which soared to the top places in the European charts. Music for the dancefloor is normally regarded as an ephemeral, transient commodity: here today, gone tomorrow. Something that the Frankfurt-based producer team Matthias Muenzing and Luca Anzilotti, better known as Snap!, have now been disproving for over 13 years.

The third album, Welcome To Tomorrow, brought forth hit singles such as The First Last Eternity and Welcome To Tomorrow. With this album the duo wrote a further chapter of their success story. In line with the zeitgeist at that time, the ten songs sounded more ambient and trance-oriented, yet without sparing any driving rhythms.

    4 out of 5 stars The Madman's Return.......2005-11-03

I listened to this stuff all the time when I was little and I still enjoy it now. It is like a mix of techno, dance, electronica, and hip-hop all blended into one sound. I like the lyrics of most songs are the beats are crazy techno stuff that still sounds great today. My personal favorites of the album are:

    1.Rhythm Is a Dancer
    2.See the Light
    3.Madman's Return
    4.Who Stole It?

4 out of 5 stars The Mad Man is definitely back!.......2004-09-04

Snap! brings their unique style along for this album. I thoroughly enjoyed the tracks. Turbo B does an impressive job with his lryics and, as always, the hardcore beats/sound effetcs compliment his powerful style. In my opinion, this cd is a notch above their first one. Check out the title track and Ex-Terminator. They're sure to deliver that shot of adreneline you need to start your day!

4 out of 5 stars The best dance album........2001-06-12

An excellent album overall!!! I could listen to it a hundred times a day, and I still wouldn't get board!!! I love snap, but "The Madmans Return" is just so much better than the others. In addition, there is one song which I didn't like: "Rythym is a dancer". However, all the other songs are excellent, with great lyrics.

5 out of 5 stars Classy club beats.......1999-04-08

I respect Snap for this and the previous album. Extremely groovy sounds and sharp (well, for the genre) lyrics. One of my all-time dance favourites.
