Mix master Claude Challe has done it once again. He has created a very special mix disc in celebration of the release of the most recent chapter in the Emmanuelle Saga on film (In October 2004). Inspired by the film's star, Nastaja Vermeer, Challe has once again created a masterpiece that captures the eroticism and sensuality displayed on the silver screen. Vermeer herself recorded two of the tracks, as she is also a singer and composer. Other highlights in the mix include Louie Vega's reconstruction of the Chakacha's 'Jungle Fever' and Delerium's 'Forgotten Worlds'. The disc comes in deluxe packaging with a 16 page photo spread of Vermeer au natural. Also included is an enhanced section featuring candid shots of Vermeer while on a photo shoot. This CD besides its sensuality has very exquisite mixes of classical songs with such a magestic twist that makes it irresistible not to put them on repeat. Besides the obvious beauty of the cover girl, again Claude Challe presents us a private yet accesible world into french sensuality.

Great romantic gift!.......2007-02-15

Gave this to my husband for Valentine's Day, and it really put both of us in a romantic mood last night. It comes with a video at the end of it, which we'll watch late at night sometime soon, while the kids are in bed. So I'm sorry that I can't comment on the video portion just yet.

When our 15-year-old daughter found the album cover with the nude pictures of the actress, she screamed "Do you want Dad to cheat on you?" Actually, this album is going to decrease the chance of him cheating. If a guy is as happy at home as my hubby was last night, he WON'T go looking for it someplace else!

Another exceptionally beautiful CD from Claude Challe.......2006-11-02

I have nearly all of Claude Challe's CDs and this is one of my favourites.

Stylistically, although most of his CDs are of the chill out / down-tempo genre, they're all slightly different. This one is just draw droppingly beautiful. The tracks on this CD are erotic, sensual, breathtaking.

I am astounded that someone can put out such consistently good releases. His track selection on this CD and most of his others is exquisite, and they're perfectly mixed together to take you on a journey. It takes a major talent to do this once, yet to do it with almost every release you put out is simply astounding. Yes, they're expensive, although you can buy nearly all of them without any risk of buying a dud. You wont end up saying, 'I liked tracks 1-4, but the rest were rubbish'.

Don't be put off by the fact that this is a single disc release and his others are doubles. This is one of my favourite CDs in my entire collection and of the hundreds of CDs I've heard in this genre. It would easily make it onto my desert island selection. Other favourites of his are Happiness, Sun, Flying Carpet, and Nirvana Lounge, although I have most and can highly recommend them all. (I've made two list mania's which have 50+ other CDs in this genre that are exceptional recordings that I believe are well worth the money, some you may be familiar with, others you probably will not, so if you're interested, click my reviewer name and check them out.)

I hear the cd when it arrived and i guess that my intuition go on ok. the cd its sensual, quiet, moods, interesting, mixing and textured. the voices are atractives, they call to think and rest. you can buy this cd without fear to be wrong.

romance delux.......2005-07-04

This music is so beautiful. I was laying in the afternoon sun with my CD on and I could imagine myself on the beach with the wind bringing me music from the resort near by that is busy with beautiful people. Bronzed skin with the hint of pink from the full day. This music, like all of Claude Challe's music, takes me out of middle of america unto a soul adventure that lifts my spirits and soothes my restlessness. Calming, romantic and erotic. I own most of Claude Challe and I am a big fan, none of his Cd's that I have bought have been alike, and I own at least 4 of his. I plan on having all of his CD's, his work is stunning and different, no one comes close. Stop reading and be come an addict like me (laughs).
This Cd and most of his work is awesome at a retail store's also. I have people ask me all the time who I am listening to.
