Editorial Reviews
Dirty Secrets released in 2002 was David Harrows acclaimed return to the Technova project he first started in the 90s while working with Andrew Weatheralls Sabrettes label.
Electrosexual, the follow up to Dirty Secrets explores a refined strain of progressive electronic soul, a slowed down techno which has been heavily infused with funky electro flavors and laden with sexually provocative vocals, courtesy of Vaginal Davies, a glamourous six-foot transvestite from Los Angeles.
From the albums first single "I Could Have Sex" - already a favorite on the London electroclash club scene at parties like Nag Nag Nag and Trash to the contagious reworking of Joy Division¹s "Atmosphere" and the driving beat of We Got The Beat, Electrosexual reveals a stark, melodic moment where Harrow relaxes into a seemingly effortless stream of squelchy and trashy sounds which make this album as much of a dancefloor essential as a home listening must have.
