The CD is mixed by label co-owner Nasir Rasheed, who compiled the thought provoking Free Activation Series volume 2 and last years runaway hit for Wallpaper Magazine "Limitless Luxury Mach 1.5".

My Intro To Life.......2006-11-21

The first time i heard a song off of this album was when i was in highschool (junior year, 2002). I use to listen to iTunes radio sataions and fell in love with electronica. After listening quite a few different artist, and various albums, i decided on 4 or 5 CD to buy. Standard Sounds: Room Service imidataly became my favorite CD, and the new theme music to my life style. To this day, i love this album.

The perfect CD to bring the sexy aura of the Standard Hotel to your home.

Of course, Tosca and Llorca are the standouts on this disc, but there are a few other pleasant surprises. The seamless flow from one track to the next will keep the party flowing smoothly. Great for cocktail parties or just to chill with.

The packaging and execution of this disc are first rate for a limited release version such as this.

Just ordered disc II and I'm looking forward to the more "well known" artists on that release.

I heard this CD at a friends apartment whilst on holidays in Spain and it is all class. Stylish, very very groovy and unmistakably sexy. If you like lounge music this one's a must have...

This is exactly what I was looking for. It's perfect for home, driving, and even the workplace. Mellow sultry grooves that set a mood for relaxation, and definitely lovin'. Sip a martini, cook a fabulous spread or just chill to this.

Summer Sounds.......2001-08-16

I bought this album after reading a review in MixMag. If you like chill-out stuff like Groove Armada, Hybrid or any of the Cafe Del Mar compilations you'll love this. It starts off fairly mellow but progresses towards a still chilled but funky style. A great summer soundtrack.
