After signing Slinky’s global album rights, Ahead are conducting a major reintroduction of Slinky to the album market to support their massive and loyal fan base. This is the first release in an ongoing series with Slinky from Ahead.

Slinky launched in 1997 at the Opera House in Bournemouth, a dramatic and atmospheric ballroom, Slinky’s ascendance over the last seven years has exceeded even the most optimistic expectation to achieve an incredible status in the dance music industry. Indeed Slinky is not so much a club night as a way of life.

Actually this was the first compilation that I purchased in the genre, and I really liked the dance/trance images of the 2nd and 3rd cd in the set. cranks well and takes the place of them old redneck truckdriving songs. Great music for driving and you'll have an excuse to burn $3/gal gasoline just to crank pink and blue slinky.

I also thought the Ultra Dance series really comliments the slinky jobs.

Note, just about the only place I could locate any of the Slinky Series was at tower records in Orange County Cali
