Album Details

Motorbass Are the Duo of Philippe Zdar and Etienne De Crecy. Two Names that Are Intrinsically Bound with France's Development Into a Leading Force on the International Dance Scene. In the Wake of "Pansoul", Zdar Would Go on to Launch the Cassius Project with Long Time Sparring Partner Boombass, While De Crecy Would Steer the "Super Discount" Album, Solid Recordings and his Own Solo Works. If you like Daft Punk's "Homework" you are sure to love this effort by french pioneers Motor Bass. In a time when french dance music is being critically praised world wide it seems such a shame that this cd has yet to get a US release. Etienne de Creacy (now releasing solo material which can be found nowhere in the US as well) and Phillippe Zdar (now rleasing stuff under La Funk Mob) are geniuses of modern dance music and deserve to be recognized for their efforts--pick this cd up if you can find it--its well worth the import prices!
