Sports songs new & old are winners!.......2006-02-25

The songs on this disc are often heard at sporting venues. The one thing that has bothered me about this series are the cheesy transitions from one song to the next. Crowds cheering, etc. does nothing to enhance my listening enjoyment. In fact, it detracts from it some because I want to her clean intros to the songs. Other than that, this disc is great! The songs cover a wide range of eras and relate well to a variety of sports.

Jok Rock is a great cd just to listen with your friends or listen to before a game. The music gets you energized with some great songs

Fabulous within its genre.......1998-05-17

This is bringing the sounds of the stadium right into your own home, for better or worse and minus the beer vendors (unfortunately). However, it's great to clean your house to, perfect for slam-dunk-the-wastebasket accompanient, and the absolute best thing to listen to before you run your first marathon. I'm surprised, yet pleased, to recommend it!

Every single song/tune on CD1 and most on CD2 is fun, high energy and cool!

I have been known to play CD1 continuously at least 30 times per listening session.

Another Annual Hit For Cream.......2002-04-19

There are a lot of compilation albums out there, Cream is consistently one of the best. While one can argue it's mostly a "party" album, everyone likes a party. I am from New York and have enjoyed house music since the late 80s. It's good to know you can take the current party with you with Cream Anthems 2002....

A Must Buy for music fans.......2002-04-10

Both CDs do not skip a beat. Excellent compilations. This is my first Cream CD and I look forward to buying more in the future.

disappointing.......2001-12-11

Most of the time, Cream compilations deliver nice rhythm and thumping beats altogether with decent mixing. However, my experience with 2002 Anthems has been nothing close. First of all, both discs were littered with tracks from previous Cream compilations. Secondly, the remixes of previously included tracks weren't outstanding in my mind (Basement Jaxx - Romeo extended mix, Members of Mayday - 10 in 1 radio edit, etc.) The only interesting track to me was Fergie's remix "meet her at the Love Parade 2001." It's sad to say this, but I didn't feel like it was $US 30 well spent.

In summary, this compilation failed for me on two counts. 1 - fresh new tracks. 2 - fresh remixes. I would recommend renaissance's anthem 2002 3 discs collection over Cream 2002. If you really like to stick to the Cream logo and label, go for the Ibiza 2001 Compilation instead of Cream 2002. You'd be a much happier person. I only purchased this compilation hoping that this is a temporary slip, and to continue support Cream so it doesn't suffer the same fate as Twilo in NYC.

Solid Massive.......2001-12-06

After to listening to both disks, I would say that I am partial to the first disk. Over all I would say it offers very tight mixing. The music is great for the person looking for french influenced global house groove. I am by no means an expert on french house, but with the daft punk samples, and the some female synth type of voices it reminds me of what I consider to be french house.

WAITED ANXIOUSLY FOR SOME TITTLES THAT ARE REALLY HARD TO GET LIKE BILLIE'S NOBODY'S BUSINESS AND BOB SINCLAIR I FEEL FOR YOU AND SOME OTHER TITTLES AND IT WASN'T EVEN AN ORIGINAL MIXX ESCEPT EXCERPTS.WILL THINK REAL HARD IN GETTING THIS CD UNLESS YOU LOVE HOUSE MUSIC IN ANY SENSE.

I bought this exquisite 2 disc compilation almost five years ago. I lost disc 1(my fave). Finally, I found it again! Even though I already have disc 2 I'm buying the set again! Believe me when I say, this album is well worth the money. A masterpiece! 'Ssst...(LISTEN)' if you truly know how to PARTY till 'Sunrise' (and you all know who you are!) You have to hear this!!! You'll be the envy of all your friends. If some tracks seem unfamilier don't worry you'll immediatly recognize them when you hear it. Ah, Memories!!!

The best club anthems 2001... ever, is quite possibly the best CD I have ever purchased. With 2 disks with over 20 tracks apiece, theres over 2.5 hrs of sweet music. CD one is more of a chill compliation w/ lyrics. It features Moloko, Spiller, and Nana. CD two is more of the well-known stuff, like Kernkraft 400, Darude (feel the beat), Storm - Feel the burn is the best trance track I've never heard, of course there's Jonah - ssst (listen), and a bunch of other well known artists like Olive, Moby, Fragma, and Paul van Dyk. Definatly spend the money on this one, I bought it tonight, and it's Tiiiiight!

Disappointed!.......2001-09-11

I really think this CD was poorly titled. I picked it up because the title was exactly what I was looking for... the best club anthems ever.

I tried to judge the disc by what songs I did know on it, and hoped that all the other stuff was as good or better. I was actually excited that there was so much music on the disc that I didn't know.

I already knew and liked the songs by Delerium, Zombie Nation, Darude, etc... but very little of the stuff I didn't already know was any good at all.

Get ready to Jam..........2001-05-10

When you hit the play button on your system, be ready to jam because the "Intro" will get you moving. The next song "Lady" will get you going if your not already getting the neighbors up! "Grove Jet" and the following tracks will get you going if your not already moving across the room...The second CD is pretty awesome too!!!! Great selections and for the price of a double set -- it is worth it! A must for those that can't get enough of the club scene -- this is perfect. Get ready to start moving...

Although some of the songs are the same as on previous Club Anthems CDs, it is definately worth buying. I bought the CD in England and it has all of the songs we danced to at the clubs. 666, Derude, Moby and others all make me want to get out of my chair and dance. There are a few songs that I could do without, and some that I would like to have included, but it is still worth the price (which isn't bad for 2 CDs). Better yet, take a trip, hit some clubs, and buy the CD there!
