MY 1ST BABY MAMMOTH CD!!!.......2003-06-12

...And believe me, it is off the chain!!! I've always been a fan of these guy's music, but I never really officially bought one of their CDs until I heard about "Octo Muck"--Weird name and I'm sure it has some underlying meaning or relevance to this set, but I was duly impressed with it!! I thought Baby Mammoth did just chillout but these guys proved me wrong with the opening "Finale" which like there name is an oxymoron...Why would you put a song called "Finale" at the beginning of a CD? At any rate, the song provides a Funky/Techno groove that I'm sure will eminate in dance clubs across the country. This song kicks ***...try not to dance to it! Equally impressive and super funky are "The Big Show", "Do I move you?", "Sunburn" and, well,let's just say all of them! These guys are good at what they do and it shows in the flawless and effortless sampling and mixing on every song. "Octo Muck" is going to make me go and buy every Baby Mammoth Cd out there--of couse I'll have to win the lottery first, cuz I didn't realize there were so many of them.
