      The "I Love Disco" series, coming from Spain, is sadly overlooked on Amazon. They never list the artists, which makes this look like some bad cover band collection. The label Blanco Y Negro has loads of volumes, some of which you can't even find on amazon. Usually, there are 3 discs in each set, but here you only get two. The sound quality is perfect, and while it's not big on major pop chart releases from the US, it does contain numerous Billboard Dance Chart hits. Seek out compilations from this label if you're looking to replace a whole load of 12" vinyl on CD. I was happy to discover that, although the time for Stephanie Mills "The Medicine Song" is listed as 6:20 on the label, it runs the full 6:42 of the 12" and does not fade out early as it does on the Grand 12-inches volume 2 CD (another good series for collectors of dance music to check out). BUT, I also noted that the 12" of Rhythm of the Night fades in a few seconds later and fades out a few seconds earlier than my vinyl version! Track times on this disc are:

      I bought this primarily for Peter Brown's "They Only Come Out at Night" which I'd not been able to find on any other available compilation. However, I was pleasantly surprised that this is both a Double CD collection, as well as containing the extended dance versions of these songs. In addition, the selections are also fun and diverse. I shied away when this collection was priced over $30.00, but this price is incredible, especially for what you're getting.
