daah duuh dahhh duhhhh!!!!!!!!.......2007-07-28
Hell o world!!!!!!!!Inferno is a song like he would approach on colma. Very intracate and balanced. Almost sounds Asian to me. Very zupppa, i live near philly got a rental in LA, threw inferno on after fist fighed on sunset Blvd. one of the best recs. ever rtecordedead. by it love it
great in some parts.......2007-02-23
I feel this album is really good, there are a few songs that can be considered throwaway songs, cause i dont think they're that good. Mainly i like this album for its fat beats from brain and pinchface, not sure who does what songs. And i also love it for the song Inferno, a beautiful melody and really cool hip-hop type beat behind it;and the title track 13th scroll for its really cool beat and melody as well. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars mainly cause some songs are repititious, but I recommend for Buck fans who have most of his main albums who like, his collaborations with Bill Laswell and Brain.
Mere words cannot describe..........2006-08-31
ohhh god! wow! ohhh god!
I just couldn't help but utter words like those upon hearing this for the 1st (and 2nd, and 3rd...) time.
I've got most of BH's stuff, but for some reason this one eluded me. I finally decided to get it last week, and what a pleasant surprise.
Mere words cannot describe how good this is.
This should have an entire store devoted to it, the size of a football field, with only one cd on all the shelves....
Was it good for you? 'cuz it was sure good for me, hehe.
:)
buckethead for a martial arts routine!.......2006-05-31
this is a showing of buckethead's superhuman powers known as "the deadly sonic arts". he kills the bad guys with under-a-minute-long shredding waves in some tracks, while slowly dissolving other baddies with "colma"style mellow peesez in others. i thought the title track was a cover of a micheal jackson tune at first but after repeated listenings i found it to be the perfect tune for botjujitsu;the art of saving and exerting great ammounts of energy second by second, relentrlessly,to bring a foe down.cool stuff, meditative indeed.
He's done it once more.......2003-09-06
This CD is outstanding. It's like Monsters & Robots part II. Actually, 3 of the tracks on here are remakes of 3 tracks from that CD (the import version with the bonus track). BucketHead goes nuts on so many tracks here, it's not even funny. I thought he was fast before, but after this, I was in shock. From the beginning to the end, I didn't skip a single thing. And that's rare for me. Some of his top solos are on this CD. If you liked Monsters & Robots, get this right away.
My only complaint is that this was one of his last "real" CDs before he started putting out things like Bermuda Triange and Somewhere over the Slaughter House. Not that those are bad (not by a long shot), but he needs to start putting out bigger stuff like this again so it won't be so hard to get a hold of. Pick this sucker up, and start going nuts and a half. This is up there with Day of the Robot, BucketHeadLand, and M & R.
