Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars Micro, what happened to your style??????.......2005-09-27

Holy sh** was I ever disapointed when I herd this cd. I own all of his cd's to date and have seen him live, but I was however let down by this cd. All of the tech mix cd's are were his talent shines through, but not this one.

5 out of 5 stars Easily one the best Micro albums to date.......2005-05-09

After hearing his last mediocre release,"my frequency"I didnt know what to expect from him,so I was thrilled when this came out because it reminds me so much of the tech mix series..the classic Micro...trance mixed with techno, breaks and maybe a touch of house.Out of all the Micro cd's I own this is is my 3rd favorite...(1st being Tech Mix 5.)I hope that Micro sticks with this style because it's a winner.Any fan of dance music should add this to your collection.

3 out of 5 stars Feels Like Progressive House.......2004-10-27

This CD felt to my like a progressive house mix. I tried to get into it but it just didn't catch on with my like Music Through Me. My subs were pumping and he's got that signature pumped up bass, but besides that I don't feel the CD really took off until the 4th or 5th song. He's a great mixer, but I don't feel that it is anything above what he's done in the past. The DVD is kind of odd, too. I wish more DJs would actually show them mixing a live set or something, and not just the same screen, or weird clips from the 60s. I didn't get it.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome ... very impressive w/plenty of TRANCE !.......2004-10-04

Wow! I must say Im very impressed because usually dj mixes gradually decrease in quality as the years go by but this one is a top notch cd all the way.I have to admit I really thought Micro had sold out when he came out with My Frequency,a very mediocre cd with very little excitement. In my opinion this has more of the classic Micro/Tech Mix sound with less breaks, thank God!I like some breaks but they get real old, real fast. This album is perfectly mixed,I honestly dont see any flaws and I rate it on up there with some of my all time favorite trance mixes such as those of George Acosta and Ferry Corsten. This is Micro's 2nd best album to date(next to Tech Mix 2.0) ...Highly recommended to any electronic music lover!

3 out of 5 stars Dj Micro.......2004-09-05

Im not here to write a long review about this album. I received a promo copy and decided to listen to it. I have actually liked Dj Micro in the past, so I decided to give it a chance. The mixing on the CD was very boring, for the first 5 or 6 tunes the mixing was only done in about 20 seconds. That isn't mixing, its boring. I decided to take the cd out before finishing it because I figured he would do the exact same thing all the way threw. There are some DATED tracks like protonic on the cd as well. Either way, the TL was "OK" but the mixing was less than par.
