Gatecrasher's Most Honored Mix........2006-11-16

First off, if you're looking for this CD, it will obviously be difficult to find. If you happen to find it available at a more suitable price than $50, as some rare import CDs might cost, don't hesitate to pick this one up. I've listened to other Gatecrashers and no other seems to match up to this one. I really have to highlight CD2 of this set since it is truly amazing. Apache - Starfighter is simply just a 30 second intro that trasitions to Morrighan's - Remember (To the Millenium), a very attractive vocal, which then explodes into the remaining trance arsenal. Each track is a warhead ready to make an impression on your ears. Truly this is one of Gatecrashers, in my opinion, Most Honored Mix. Therefore get this one! If you don't know which of the Gatecrashers to get at first, start with this one. Buy the MP3s if you have to, you will not regret it.

The best trance cd around..........2006-07-27

My copy of Gatecrasher Wet was unfortunately stolen, along with my car...I guess thieves are into trance these days. Because I'm a cheap %$#@! I've yet to re-purchase another copy and have relied on Limewire to download as many songs from the Wet cd as possible. Highlights are "We Came", "The Hymn", "Saltwater" and basically everything on Disc 1. If you like Gregorian, and Celtic trance, you'll fall in love with this compilation. Another favorite is Gatecrasher Disco Tech, though it has a few cheesy tracks peppered throughout.

The best trance album I have ever heard.......2003-11-11

After a friend recommended this, i bought it straight away. I was amazed. I have never been able to discover an album where every song is good, and mixing has been so dreamy! Now mine is scratched badly and finding it again has been a nightmare, I recommend this to any trance bunny. And listen to track 11 on disc 2, "I believe" by Lange, its a classic. Thank u amazon for having it in stock!

Electronic Aficionado finds this a CLASSIC!.......2003-11-11

I have all the Gatecrasher cd's and tons of electronic compilations, and this is by far the best. This was my first electronic cd and it has been impossible to find any to match it. The songs are extremely beautiful and danceable. The cd never gets boring or repetitive. There is a mix of beautiful and dreamy tracks to the hard and pumping ones.

You cannot go wrong with this compilation. It is absolutely perfect.

Wet is mellowed out and awesome.......2002-05-10

This album is a good one to have. I have various tastes in music and styles. Gatecrasher attacted me since I love trance, techno, happy hardcore, rave, and house.
I'm big into Oakenfold, PVD, DJ Tiesto, Liquid, Timo Mass, etc.
Both CDs is just purely moody, sentimental, and ambient bordering into trance beats and light bass. It's very soothing and mellow.
There's 18 tracks on each CD, both are definitely a great compilation to have for any parties, get togethers, etc. Even makes for great background music as well as dance.

I say the price is definitely worth it!!

i think that this is one of the best cd packs that i have had the pleasure of hearing. they mix it very well from track to track and it one of those cd packs that i never take out my my cd player. you can't go wrong with this one if this is the stlye of music you enjoy. two thumbs up.

I Was Trying To Look For A Good British Cd Because I Emigrated To Canada And I Miss The Original And Future Dance & House Music.And By The Kind Of Songs That Are On It, I Think It Sounds Good So I Might Get It, Or Another Gatecrasher Cd. Except In Canada There About $50! GATECRASHER RULZ!!!!

Gatecrasher always makes great dance albums..........2001-06-13

......And this one is one of their best. The quality of tracks is more consistent on Wet than global S.S. or disco tech (about tied with red). Great selection for beginning trance enthusiast, and veterans (supposing you might try to consider yourself one without owning this set). Great trance. Good beats and good melodies. Good variety. Very well mixed as well.

This is the type of CD that you will leave in your CD player for days at a time. The tunes are awesome and the mix is brilliant. CD 1 is a little tame in parts, but CD 2 is worth the entire purchase price. Like I said, I'm still dancing!

This is a great album........2005-02-18

I have to admit, I'm very partial to most stuff that comes out of Ministry of Sound and that was the case when I heard this album for the very first time. To be honest, I wasn't too impressed it with it, although I heard many promising tracks. This was an error in my resoning. Wet should be consider a whole rather a sum of its parts. Disc 1 starts off with Finished Symphony to set the mood and continues through with some average tracks to Synaesthesia. This is where this CD really starts to pick up. Starting with Synaesthesia through Saltwater is some of the best trance I've heard. Disc 2 isn't far beind, the more I listen to it the more I like it. It took me a few sessions to get into Wet but now I consider this one of the best trance albums I own. In some ways Wet isn't as polished as Ministry of Sound's Clubber's Guide to...Trance but than again Gatecrasher didn't have ATB at its helm. In any event, I feel that the strong point of this set is song selection. I can't describe how amazing some tracks are in this set. Its definitely a must have in my music collection.
