If I had to write a soundtrack for my dreams, this'd be it!.......2000-03-16

My friends this is everything techno SHOULD be. The album opens up with "1. Outback philantropic mix". It starts out slow and then moves in with killer dance drums yet remains very light in sound. It keeps you moving and can send your mind into la la land with it's softness at times. Later on into the album your bound to reach "4. Wavemaker" which matches it's name to the letter. very airy in sound and also has it's blend of drumbeats that will keep your toes tapping. I actually had the rare oppertunity to see the video for "#6. Ride The Rhythm". This one has to be my absolute favorate! it starts out with simple drums and builds on itself in complexity and then just explodes into a great sounding tune. This one will take you on a ride so hold on.

All in all this is a great sounding album that I can listen from beginning to end and not be bored at all. There's heavy drumming and yet other instruments involved that keep it balanced with almost dream like soft sounds. And a nice little bonus with most of Aqualite's albums is it's artwork! This particular album definately cought my eye visually and my ear audibly. Aquaplant is my favorate, if you like techno that keeps you awake and on your toes then this is the one album you SHOULD NOT pass up.

I have been in search of this CD ever since I heard it a year ago. Aqualite is the reason I listen to and love techno today. If you ever find a copy, buy it!!

Aqualite "Aquaplant" is perfect from beginning to end. Most of my Techno CD's have a few great songs and 40 minutes of boring repetition to fill the CD. But, Aquaplant is pleasant an exception. This CD is second only to my Juno Reactor "Bible of Dreams" CD in my top 10 Techno list.
