nice album but what is wrong with the people who do the remastering work;
they wanna make it sound so loud that errors appear in the end result!

this is my favorite cerrone compilation. Still haunting and powerful. Defines the era of disco. Je Suis Music and Music of Life were ahead of their time.

En mi opinion personal, este disco ( junto a "Love in C minor" )es de lo mas destacable de Cerrone. Maravillosos sonidos que retrotraen a epocas en los que uno gozaba con la musica disco. "Je suis Music" y "Look for Love" con sus gloriosos 10' son de lo mejor del album ... No duden con este disco.

I have been looking for this one as well, My favorite was "look for love". It was a favorite of the street DJs in The Bronx that year. I thought Grandmaster Flash bought up all the available copies! lol I wonder what Cerrone is doing now???

I have been looking for this CD for a long time. "Rocket in the Pocket" is my favorite Cerrone song. It's a little different from his other stuff. I like it because of the great guitar work on this track. I remember listening to this when I was a kid and dreaming of playing guitar like that. Now that I finally have the CD I can learn the licks.

Music Of Life is one of my all time favorite songs: associations with summer, sun, fun, girls come to mind.
"Je suis music" is also great, but the other songs are average.

So "The Golden Touch" is for the hardcore Cerrone fan. The great tracks mentioned above are almost always included on the "Best Of" albums.

Finally I could get a copy of this cd. I think this is one of Cerrone's best albums. "Je suis music" is such a good track. But the real treat is "Look for love", if you are a fan of Cerrone's music and you love the "eurodisco style" at its best, this is a great option to add to your collection. It won't be a waste of your money as other reviewer stated. Also Check "Cerrone by Bob Sinclar" cd. You will love it!!!!

Did Cerrone have a "producer's block"?.......2001-12-09

After three magnificent albums, Cerrone is now sliding downward, apparently running out of inspiration, at least temporarily. This occurs, unfortunately, at the height of disco's reign. This fact leaves one wondering what kind of musical jem Cerrone would had produced, if this album had been much better... The only track standing much above the others is "Je Suis Music".
Folks, don't waste your money on this one; instead, buy Hot Record's excellent Cerrone collection in which you can find "Je Suis Music".
