The mixes are great - continual throughout the CD. High energy and good song choices. While none of the songs are bad, there are a couple I find myself skipping past. This is easily made up for the ones I can put on repeat and lift weights, run or drive too. Almost a perfect CD. Highly recommended for dance, vocal trance lovers.

When I first got this cd I wasn't sure if this cd was as good as I thought it would. But as I listened to it more and more it grew on me. Now the songs are embedded in my brain and I love the cd more and more. There are so many good songs. I particularly like:

Besides these songs this cd has other song that help make this cd great. The only 2 songs I wouldn't have on this cd would be track 1(Alone - Lasgo ) and track 16 (Never Leave You - Uh Ooh, Uh Oooh! (Club Mix) - Lumidee )

4 out of 5 stars FEMALES DOING THEIR THING.......2004-10-03

"I Wanna Let Go", best dance song I have heard in a long time. If that song doesn't make you get up and dance, then you are dead. "Burn With Desire" is a nice follow to that song as well. Of course you got the Queen of Dance Deborah Cox on here with her biggest hit ever as well. Some songs on here are too mainstream however and the mixes are not as impressive as other Devito CD's. Tracks 2,3,4 make this cd worth it however, along with Cox's "Something Happened On the Way to Heaven".

This one of my favorite current dance CDs, along with mr.deviant's "Techno Obsession".
Dance Divas 2 brings more current tracks to the collection, unlike vol. 1 which contained a lot of stuff we've already heard before. I really dig the heavy stuff on this CD (I just love hardfloor and hard edge dance music, like mr.deviant's stuff), but the CD has too many light tracks to keep me from giving it a higher rating. Still worth the money, but should have been filled with 100% hardtracks.

Blending a mix of big hits and lesser known stuff often only released as import singles, this is the ultimate place to get some of the strongest commercial vocal trance going mostly in 12" format, and it's not beatmixed! If you like Lasgo, Ian Van Dahl, Kate Ryan, and others of that style, you'll love this series. My biggest issue on this volume is that they didn't use the best trance mix of Delerium's "Silence", but opted for the less powerful version. Track times on this volume:

I bought this album hoping to find some great vocal trance music, and I found it. This album has 2 cd's with some great tunes. From Lucy Carr's "This is Goodbye" to Lange's "Sincere For You". For those of you out there who love vocal trance...pick up this album. You get 2 cd's of trance pleasure.

I bought this album because of the fact that I'm a huge Madison Park fan. I quickly found out that the two CDs are packed with great songs! The first on the first CD is "Time" by Milk, Inc. What a cool song! The last on the second CD is My Personal Moon by Madison Park. Another very cool song! Those two songs frame this album very nicely with lots of good stuff including a really cool mix of Kate Ryan's Only If I.

I found this album at Wal-Mart for $10. I figured, "Well, if it isn't any good, I'm only out ten bucks." As it turns out, this is an excellent compilation! Now, I am usually not a fan of an album which isn't mixed, but the producers got around this barrier by actually putting THOUGHT into the track arrangement. Unlike the "Pure..." series of discs (Pure Trance, Techno, etc...) which are Pure Crap. Great songs, great price. What can I say... I'm a sucker for trance. Get this album, you won't be disappointed.

Strange that I would review this as I really dislike dance music, but someone gave me a copy as a gift. Maybe I have a defective disc, but there are many serious timing errors throughout. A lot of the beat loops lag. This is distracting to the point that the disc is unlistenable - but I find most dance music unlistenable and extremely boring. If I were into dance music, these errors would be all the more irritating. Add to that the fact that this disc contains one of my all time most hated songs: "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All" (originally from one of my all time most hated bands). This CD belongs in a landfill, not in your CD player.

Granted some of these songs are old on the cd, but this cd is called Dance Divas so it will include singers past and present. Run Down:

1. Mr. Lonely -- I can listen to about a minute of this. I know Deborah Cox has a good voice, but enough already!

2. Wish I didn't Miss You -- I like this song, but I heard it a lot on the radio so I tend to skip over it.

3. I Never Knew -- She made a come back and it was good.

4. Ti Amo -- I loved this song when I heard it. I even saw them perform at a club, and they really aren't that bad. I love the beat.

5. Making Love -- This is my FAVORITE song on the whole cd. I play it over and over and over again. She just has a powerful voice and its just so upbeat.

6. Better off Alone -- I always liked this song, even though she says the same 3 phrases over and over again.

7. Rapture -- Old and overplayed. I did like it at one point.

8. Feel it -- Next..

9. Find Another Woman -- It's ok.. next

10. Skin -- Next

11. Sexual -- Always liked this song. Still good after all this time.

12. Never had a dream come true -- I like this song. A little bit on the cheese factor, but it does ok.

13. Gotta tell you -- I usually skip this one. I can listen to about a minute on this one as well.

14. Free -- Another ok song.

15. How do I live -- This mix is nice, but the song was never one of my favorites.

16. Say A Little Prayer -- I keep thinking "My Best Friend's Wedding"

17. Unbreak My Heart -- This has a disco beat to it. An improvement on the original.

I'd say volume two is better than the first. There are very few tracks on this disc I would skip. Water Dance Music really knows how to pick them. What's great about this disc is that a lot of these songs are not available as singles (at least in the US) and you probably have not heard of them, but if you like Ian Van Dahl, Lasgo, Sylver, Milk Inc., or Kaye Ryan (who has a song on this double disc), then you will love this stuff. Most songs run from 5-8 minutes in length, with few radio edits. Track times:

This CD represents excellent value for money with 42 tracks. However, the inclusion of certain well used compillation tracks for example, Pure Shores (All Saints) and How do I live (Leann Rimes)spoil the overall effect since they have been around too long to be included with the rest of the tracks which are very recent. Kylie, Liberty X and Sarah Whatmore and many more make this CD well worth having in your collection - great for in the car.
