Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars what a dif a year makes.......2007-03-24

This album is weak compared to radio free brooklyn. Doesn't have the same edge lyrically, and the beats don't measure up either. Honestly I shoulda saw it comin, as this goes for a buck, and r.f.b goes for several times that. I like pete, just hope he doesn't lose the desire.

5 out of 5 stars Profoundly Deep........2006-05-26

Pete's lyrical skills are amazing, hands down. I never got tired listening to this album. There are so many things you can relate to with Pete, as everything that he spits is about his own experiences. His concepts are fresh and worthy of great respect. For those of you who are tired of the direction mainstream hip-hop is going, I highly reccomend this album. And even if you dont listen to hip-hop, Camouflage Is Relative will change your views on this genre forever.

5 out of 5 stars one hell of an album.......2005-08-27

This album starts off with a great intro track, which is amazing. Then that trend continues until the end of the album, every track shows work in it and Pete Miser can actually rhyme unlike your more famous artists (Eminem, 50 cent, the game to name a few) He really talks about things that you can relate to (I doubt that any of the famous rappers go to the `hood in an Escalade because we all know they would be robbed!) such as ex-girlfriends, and he talks about the rap industry in my favorite song "table scraps". This album is purely great and is a must if you prefer DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince to Eminem, or the Wu-Tang Clan to Snoop Dogg.

5 out of 5 stars Instantly Accessible yet Different.......2005-08-09

As soon as the first track begins, you know you're in for a treat. The CD features tight and funky beats, and the rhymes are inventive as well as catchy. Really great hip-hop; one of the best releases of the year. It has not left my CD player for the past six months.

4 out of 5 stars I blame Atomfilms..........2005-05-11

Have you seen the Scent of a Robot video? Do that. Now. Relish the beats, the seamless lyrics, the apparent intelligence. Then have a listen to the full CD. Sense a theme here?

I don't know much, but I know this is some 'Sierra Hotel Sierra'.

The beats are clever, the samples are EXTREMELY tight...the only reason I can't give this a 5-star is I get the sense his next will be as good or better, and I want room to grow my scale. ;-)
