Simply The Best.......2005-06-24
Wow! This album is beyond words. If you are a person who listens to music with your heart hoping for inspiration, this is the CD for you. Each songs flows into the next, this is not an album you skip through each song is as great as the one before it. My favorite however "Live in The light" by Fertile Ground, Music truely does move. This is album is rich with Groove, and Soul. This is the type of album you play when your trying to feel positive about life even when things may not be going so well. This is the type of album you play at a "grown folks" get together, while your sipping wine and keep the positive vibe going. Unlike some other acid jazz, neo soul type albums, this album is Not Slow, its up tempo but manages to be mellow at the same time. Words can't describe, you should buy this one for yourself so you too can hear some Simply Good Music.

What music comp's should be.......2004-08-04
I've got all other Giant Step comps, but this is by far their best one, and it's a great example of what a music compilation SHOULD be...which is a bunch of differernt types of music for the listener to preview instead of 12 tracks by different artists, but they all sound the same. A good mix of electronic and urban. The first track "O.G. Bitch is HYSTERICAL but still good. Also, there's an Amp Fiddler track on this (the best on his album if you ask me), and tripped-out cut by Roots Manuva. GREAT housey cut by RSL. The pleasant suprise on this CD was Carl Craig doing this electro-ragga remix of Zap Mama. Carl's from my hometown (Detroit), so I gotta play favorites and say that was my favorite.
