Fantastic dance music .......2005-10-28

This is a Cure-centric review, as I do think the world revolves around The Cure. This single is a treat for Cure fans because it features Robert Smith on vocals. Junior Jack's song "Da Hype" is a nice dance song. With this single, we get almost 30 minutes of music, but the differences between the four versions are slight. One of my favorite Cure songs was the B-side "The 13th (Feels Good Mix)" from the "Strange Attraction" single, and this single reminds me of that. I love techno/dance mixes with Robert singing, so this single is great!

Good Song, OK Single.......2004-07-31

I recently picked up this release and enjoy the sing. It is an original song by Junior Jack with Robert Smith providing the vocals on all of the tracks that are not dubs. The music has the sound of European style club friendly techno at it's best. My only complaint is that tracks 2-4 don't sound very unique. They are very much like the singles of the 80s when many remixes sounded basically like longer versions of the original song. Don't get me wrong, if you like the single you should enjoy remixes, just not as much as if they had actually done something different to the song as part of the remix.

About 20 years ago Bobby O wrote and produced a song named, "I'm So Hot For You". Now Junior Jack has sampled the music and added vocals provided by, Robert Smith of The Cure.

This song is a must have for all DJ's who play old school and new school. It will be a great dance classic in no time. It's too bad that radio stations don't play enough dance music!

When I DJ I mesh the two songs and they sound awesome. You can catch the video on grooveradio.com. It will remind you of the dance scene in Blade or something from the Matrix....Enjoy

this song is simply amazing.the beat is very catchy-will have you on the dance floor in no time. but what sets this apart from other records right now is robert smiths voice. it is just awesome on this song. who would have thought that robert smith of the cure would sound so freekin good singing dance music. this song should be released domestically so that everyone can be re-introduced to robert smith, since the cure has a new album coming out in the summer. i give huge props to junior jack for putting robert smith on this record. this is the perfect song.

Not the typical "Hard House" but still top notch.......2003-08-15

If you think this is a continuation of Da Hard Beats Vol. 1, think again. Although still considered "hard house", this CD takes a turn to more of a hard techno feel. But that doesn't mean it's bad at all! This CD is just as bangin as the first. Typical Bam Bam once again. If you like this CD, check out Do You Like It Hard as well, another great compilation by one of the greatest DJs of all time.

This CD is so hard it'll blow the doors off your car it's so hard!! If you like bangin' techno music than this CD is DEFINATELY for you! Tracks like "Number and Measure" by Jamie Bissmire and "Utility Plastics #9" are just some of the baddest beats DJ Bam Bam has ever put on a disc. So, if you luv hard techno you'll love Da Hard Beats Vol.2. PICK IT UP!!!

Hard.......2001-07-07

This is not the pretty house music one may expect from Richard "Humpty" Vission. This is serious, hard, bangin' house music which does not include a lot of song samples. I recommend it for its sheer power and subtle shifts.

Da Hard Beats 2 ... don't get it !! Unless you like Techno.......2001-05-20

DJ Bam Bam has showcased his amazing hard house skills to the whole world with numerous House Blend mixes and his last CD "Da Hard Beats". "Da Hard Beats 1" was full of constant extreme hard house tracks...one of the best mixes ever.

So how does the sequel compare to the original ? Horrible.

"Da Hard Beats 2" is NOT a hard house CD..its not even a HOUSE CD. It is a "hardish techno" CD...and DJ Bam Bam's taste in techno is lacking. This CD shows nothing new, just bad hard techno tracks..which is going to be a big dissapointment to all hard house fans out there, esp DJ Bam Bam fans. Even as a techno CD, there is nothing "hard" about this CD. Its full of grainy noisy techno tracks..which gives you more of a headache then make you dance.

Now I am not saying "All techno is bad". There are some awesome Techno DJs out there....Carl Cox and DJ Hyperactive are a couple in mind. But DJ Bam Bam is nowhere near as good as the former... Stay away from this CD if you are a hard house fan and if you are a techno fan ALSO stay away from this dissapointing CD.
