In 2000, DJ Rolando’s Knights Of The Jaguar ep under the name Aztec Mystic inspired a new trend in techno music, steering it away from the barrage of unending and monotonous drum patterns that were being released at the time.

The brainchild of DJ Rolando (aka The Aztec Mystic) and Gerald Mitchell (both co-writers of the defining "Jaguar" track, released in 2000 on seminal Detroit label Underground Resistance) and guided by UR founder "Mad" Mike Banks, the Los Hermanos label was founded as a catalyst to raise the standard not only for techno, but dance music in general.

By fusing the funk and soul of Detroit techno with the feel of latin rhythms, Los Hermanos destroy the boundaries between house and techno. United by the spirit of the global dance community and inspired by pioneers Carlos Santana and WAR, Los Hermanos become a digital extension of those cross-cultural forays into music. The result is music that is modern, yet firmly grounded in musical tradition.

I first heard them on Marquess Wyatts cd and I thought they were decent. When shopping for another cd I gave a gamble and hit it. Los hermanos is a must have.No cheesy gimick sounding music just plain ole sweet! It makes me wanna have fun.

Le magazine Trax l'annoncé comme une revolution ,le premier titre que j'ai écouté m'a fait revé l'album est par contre un peu plus plat, mais il s'écoute parfaitement chez soi!!!

This is in my opinion is how electronic music needs to be,it has emotion and hell it is damn groovy but then it's on Submerge from Detroit and just one look at their roster and you know we are talking depth,i mean snorkelling type depth.All tracks on this cd work for me,the rythms,percussions,strings...it's all there.So if real techno with Feeling is your cup of tea go ahead and order,you cannot go wrong.Check out Queztal and Resurection for tracks that we make you elevate!!!
