For some strange reason, very few MCs have managed to display their comedic abilities on the mic. Not so Akinyele, who flips the tip in different directions depending on his mood; with a roughneck voice and a delivery akin to Busta Rhymes's (and the remarkable vocal agility to ape Biz Markie when the occasion calls for it), Ak manages to have it both ways. While he does a nice job on this EP's straight-up rap songs, it's the title cut that distinguishes this CD: "Put It in Your Mouth" is, easily, the lewdest hip-hop song out there. An ode to oral sex of all varieties, it's the type of thing Redd Foxx would be doing if he had been born at the right time; that it's also an insanely melodic single with a singable chorus makes it a must for parties. --Randy Silver

After finding this on my niece's computer, I had to find out why somebody had to sing such raunchy lyrics. This world is about so much more than men forcing women to do what they want. Now they are singing about it, and calling it music? This is pure trash, and if you like this, then this society is in BIG trouble. Don't put any more money into this man's pocket. I would spend $100 to prevent this from entering a child's ears.

good EP.......2004-11-04

Akinyele delivers a good 5 song, 21 minute EP. If you have a soft stomach this ain't for you. Really isn't a weak point on the CD. He says some lines that'll make Larry Flynt blush. Some of the songs on here are gangser type songs and some are just about pu*sy. A good EP to have (plus it should be rather cheap) in your collection if this type of rap is for you. Production is by 5 different people, Chris Forte, Dr. Butcher, DJ Enuff, Frankie Cutlass, and EZ elpee (each do 1 song). It has 1 classics, 2 are ok and the other 2 are good.

#1 - 10 (classic song about oral sex - f/ Kia Jeffries)
#2 - 7.5 (gangsta sh*t about robberies)
#3 - 8 (f/ Complexsion)
#4 - 9.5 (f/ Complexsion - about not paying for pus*y)

Watch out farmers of England! Conflict don't like you........2005-04-18

At what point does the left-wing become the right? Round about here. Dangerously intolerant views in the lyrics on this CD. An average punk racket at best in terms of the music which is more unforgivable than the narrow-minded diatribe within. I dunno why this is called "Anarcho-punk", seems to me these guys have got the answer to everything and won't tolerate any deviancy from their party line. That ain't anarchy to me.

conflict is back!!!.......2002-02-10

the 2 new studio tracks are flat out excellent, in the typical conflict tradition. however, it appears that the 'vulgar' and 'obscene' language has been bleeped on this recording. why?!? obviously, if you listen to conflict, why should you care about 4 letter words? i'm not sure if this is true on the 7" version of this record as well or not. anyway, the cd configuration has 2 bonus live tracks 'these things take time' and 'climbing the stairs,' 2 of the bands later period tracks when they diverisified their sound. both of these tracks have a very 2 tone-sounding ska flavor.
