I thought all the cd's in this set were good pretty much all the way through. It's happy and it's hardcore. Some slow parts were in cd 3, were there was some thematic talking, and some may find some of it to be repetitive, however if you know the genre then you can't lose with this.

lots of cds... lots of music... but i really like only one of the cds... i think you might be better off by buying your music song by song rather than buying this.... but its pretty good considering the other cds out there...

I actually like the Vibe CD's better than the Dougal ones. They really bring back memories of earlier happy hardcore songs! The Dougal CD's are great too, a tad bit more modern sounding. But there's something that makes me smile listening to songs like "Till Me Meet Again". Overall, Dougal and Vibe both have distinct sounds and I can definitely appreciate them both. With six CD's to choose from, if you even like some of the songs it's well worth it.

i have to agree with the reviewer before me, the 3 Dougal CDs are much much better then the 3 Vibes CDs. but for the price the 3 Dougal CDs are more then worth it!!

I love the new Happy Hardcore sound! It's without a doubt the most uplifting and exciting sound to ever come out of the dance music scene without being cheesy.
What you get from this box set is 3 CDs of Dougal's nu-skool happy hardcore sound and 3 CDs of Vibes' old-skool happy hardcore sound.
Let me take this opportunity to express how much I dislike old-skool! I've enjoyed it in the past, and occasionally enjoy hearing an old track, but really, I'm over it! And I know I'm over it when I hear it with some nu-skool, which is the case in these CDs! I can't enjoy the 3 Vibes CDs when Dougal's 3 CDs are just so much better!
But of course, if you still love the old-skool sounds, you may love all 6 CDs together!
But either way, the box set is worth buying even if you only listen to half of it.
