Product Description
Out of the creative minds of Andrew Archer (a.k.a ‘Forth’) and John Elliot (partner in ‘Avatar’ and ‘Spector’) comes the powerful and eclectic electronic production duo, Trafik.

After much anticipation, Trafik have finally completed their first ever, full length artist album ‘Bullet’. The album features their hugely successful single ‘Your Light’ along with eleven other songs that span from atmospheric soundscapes, ambient beats and chilled out moods (reminiscent of early Portishead) to big room breaks and peak time club tracks. Trafik have employed the vocal talents of Rachel Lambert and their own John Elliott throughout the album.

Andrew Archer is a well-known member of the Global Underground family. As the Forth he has compiled and mixed various compilations for GU such as the Electic Calm series, Departures, Arrivals, Locations, Afterhours, and the recently released Exposures. He has remixed the legendary BT and DJ’d alongside the likes of Sasha, Digweed, Tenaglia and Oakenfold. John Elliott started his musical career at the mere age of 16 as the front man for Polygram/Island signed Solavox, and he had a short stint as the illustrious singer of production powerhouse ‘Tilt’. When pieced together the duo was good and ready to turn out a sensational album!

Catch it now, as Trafik ushers in yet another era for the world’s most groundbreaking electronic music label.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Album of the year.......2007-05-16

What an album. Every track blows me away every time I listen to it. Still in the player 2 years later. Well done. New album comes out soon.

3 out of 5 stars Not too shabby.......2006-08-10

This album didn't blow my socks off nor would I consider it trance. It doesn't really bust into a groove, except for the first track's rock like beat, until track 3. I might have the UK version cause it starts out with Midas and it's listed differently on here. Either way, I give it props for being atmospheric, but that's about it. There is much better trance, electronic out there, such as the chemical brothers.

5 out of 5 stars Love this Album !!!!.......2005-09-05

Brought together by chance, the duo of Andrew Archer and John Elliott have had a long and storied path that leads them to where they are today as Trafik. Andrew was part of The Forth alongside Scott Dawson and James Todd, whom throughout the mid and late 90s remixed some of the best artists such as BT, amongst others on some of the most well know labels of the time. At this time, John was a member of the indie band Solavox, but as both paths came to cross in their hometown of Newcastle, a friendship was forged, from which a mutual creativity emerged shifting focus onto an uncharted highway of experimentation. Trafik was born, and now several years later, after remixing the likes of Dave Seaman, Lo-Step and most recently Unkle, in addition to several well received singles, they emerge with their debut album 'Bullet'

2 out of 5 stars A electronica man.......2005-08-04

WTF??? I hate when I read your guy's stellar reviews, go out and buy it and come across complete garbage. I've really tried to listen and discover what a you are raving about...but, alas, i'ts non-existent.

This CD is truly garbage...tainted by the worst vocals on many tracks lacking that real dance feel. This is what they play at upsidedown clubs. Some of the "beats" get to be slightly catchy as on the beggining of "You Me" but either never breaks out to anything better or turns to garbage...fast. Some of it reminds me of Industrial/Techno at times in the begginging...I cant take this anymore....If you like stuff like Sasha/Digweed, Way out West, or even Tiesto...Be careful.

5 out of 5 stars Great Great Album!!!.......2005-07-09

I've been a long time fan of electronic music and I've seen and heard everything in that genre. This is by far one of the most creative albums I've heard in a very long time and I wish I would of came across it sooner. I'm definitely staying on this wagon all the way to the end! If you like beats that will give you speakers a workout, then this is for you my friend. Take it from someone that really knows how to appreciate what goes into making this type of music. This will keep me happy in the L.A trafik I have to be in. Get it!!!
