Bringing Brit-pop and smashing into R&B flavored electronica ala Jamiroquai, The Wildlife sway their heads back and wail. Catchy with funneled pop hooks, "Sweet Plastic" has nifty beats and a lo-fi vibe. Dance rock has been taken to the headlines with acts like The Killers but I dare say The Wildlife make it challenging and more poignant. The album was produced by Alex Newport whose past work has included such luminaries and groundbreaking acts like The Mars Volta, System of a Down, and Erase Errata. Not many bands have this much soul delivering it with contagious effectiveness and with a sense of urgent need to rock out with your hair down.

Mishka's voice is strong and deep. The melodies easy to listen to. The song words are real. The songs are refreshing yet have a catchy familiarity to them. 13. The Girl I Love [Black & White Mix] - stripped down eighties synth beat with an acapella-like vocal which develops into 90's & beyond Club Sound. Could go on and on for a longer extended mix though. A pretty cool edit none the less.

PLAY THIS CD LOUD and let the songs overtake you... this album is in cInEmAsCoPe - close your eyes while listening & you can practically SEE the songs.. WOW - Can't wait for more!!
If you get the chance to see GloveboX LIVE, SEE THEM @ ALL COSTS - as fantastic as the CD is, multipy it by 100 and you'll kind of get the idea of how awesome they are LIVE - The songs lend themselves very nicely to the live arena; GloveboX give you a fantastic stageshow and fun to be had by all!
GloveboX ARE definitely destined for HUGE things.
